ReplyDeleteI understand Annie. Back in 2005 when I still had a remodeling crew working , I'd get calls in the middle of the night from folks who "just wanted it over with" , their project I mean.:-)
ReplyDeleteremodeling is so much tougher than building new but "this too shall pass" and it'll all work out and you'll love it.

ReplyDeleteJust think about how nice and new everything will look when it is done. I remember when my mother became very ill my brother decided to remodel their bathroom in the old farmhouse. There was only one bathroom in the house...so it was a bit of a nightmare for a while.

Sorry it's taking so long. I know it must be very dissappointing. I hope they will get at it and finish up soon.

ReplyDeleteI know the feeling! Keep in mind I waited 8 months for my bathtub to finally get fixed! Showers do not compare- especially in an unheated room...

Awww! Sending you some "Remodeling Strength" medication, Annie :) It never goes quite how we plan - especially time-wise - but wait until it is done (no matter when) because you will forget all the frustration, disorganization, dust and debris, and it will be worth it...hmmm...sounds like raising kids, doesn't it? :)

ReplyDeleteWe are planning to redo our kitchen, but do not have a final design nor were the cabinets will come from. So soon, i will also be going throught the process!
It is like that with re- modelling. We don't know how long it takes, once the remodeling tarts. I am keeping my fingers crossed for ya.
