Julie pouted, "I just HATE Valentine's Day. What is a SINGLE person to do?" Her SADNESS was overpowering when memories of past times with her beloved spouse filled her. They had been ATTACHED in all activities and celebrated everything together. Now Julie just sat around an looked like she was puckered up from eating an extra sour LEMON.
LOVE had not left her in any way but HAPPINESS was not the same. She laughed to recall how they used to duel over the last piece of CHOCOLATE. The duel was simply a routine act because he always gave up and made sure she won. Now a frozen DINNER was her celebratory BREAKFAST starting out another Valentine's Day.
Good words. Where's the story? LOL

It's not easy to find yourself alone like that. Good use of the prompts.
ReplyDeleteI hope Julie manages to find a way to still be happy even on Valentine's Day.
