WE won 100 dollars once on a Nevada ticket....You can count the number of tickets we have bought over our married life on your fingers. Nope...not gamblers.

ReplyDeleteNot a gambler at all. It has truly never occurred to me buy a lottery ticket and a casino is just overstimulating, I can't stay in one for longer than a minute.
ReplyDeleteI played nickel slots once & won $300; played the horses once & won $700; played bingo twice & won $90; yet to win the lottery because, in spite of my beginner's luck, I'm a tightwad & seldom ever gamble...BUT, I will buy a few tickets this week. :-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, we are on the same page. I once won $1500 from the Florida lottery via an office pool. That was after 7 years of playing so I am not sure I broke even.

ReplyDeleteBuying lottery tickets is gambling, but I only buy if there is enough left after grocery shopping and bill paying, also I wait until the prize is big enough to make sharing worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteThe only horse race I have a bet on these days is our legendary Melbourne Cup...which always falls on the first Tuesday in November...hence...6th Nov this year. When my late brother was alive he often would ring me with tips and I'd some times have a bit of a flutter, but since his passing I only have bet on the Melbourne Cup now.

Yes, comment eaten! Years ago won 5 numbers in Megabucks before a bigger game. Only won $400 bucks, but it was on my Birthday! I like lottery! Hit a few hundred here n there on scratch tix these days.
