CONDOLENCES

Ron and I are still traveling but I'm trying to catch up on your blogs when I can find a computer connection. This morning I was saddened to read Dana's LIFE IS GOOD. Their dear Lucky was a long time companion and they have had to say goodbye. Dana's writing was a deep and stirring description of what it means to lose such a friend.

  5. I was saddened to hear about the loss of the pet. They to me are part of the family and it's heartbreaking when they go but the joy they give us is un replaceable.

Our house is dark and quiet. We have nothing to say that hasn't been said, or cried through, and I had nothing to compensate for my thoughts. So I decided to visit a few of my friends: leave no comment, just VISIT.

Then I came here. Thank you so much for acknowledging the horror we're struggling to recover from.

  8. I left a comment there. That was one of the hardest blogs to read. The joys dogs bring are hard to describe. One of my best friends I've ever had was Blueberry, who died in '97. I never had a friend who knew EXACTLY how I was feeling at all times other than her.

  9. I know what it's like to see a pet pass away slowly. It's heartbreaking and the post Dana wrote made me cry. I wish them peace.
