Got as close as I could but not what I wished.  I love her so much I wanted this to be the best.  Oh well, I tried. What a great actor she is and she just celebrated her 94th birthday in January.

Hope you can see even a slight resemblance to Sly Stallone.  I am hoping he will win an Oscar tomorrow night for his role in CREED.   Who can ever forget watching the first ROCKY movie?  Obviously I won't win an Oscar for this portrait but it was fun trying.  Getting in a rush as down to two days.

If you are old as I you have seen Jerry Orbach in multitudes of shows, both television, Broadway and movies since 1955.  He was in Law and Order for 273 episodes and I drew this from one of the reruns which I never tire of watching.  He died in 2004 at age 69.

The Ellen Show ran from 1994 to 1998 and was one of the highest rated comedy shows on television until Ellen disclosed to America that she was gay.  Soon after the show was cancelled. I have been so happy finding the reruns of this hilarious TV show.  I am also happy for Ellen that in this 21st century she has been able to return to television with her own talk show and we can share laughs with her again.

Winter was extreme in Kansas.  Ron and I were virtually isolated and loved the warm and cozy life in our little home (a remodeled one room school house.).  This was always thought of by us as our 7 year honeymoon. During that time Ron would work crossword puzzles in the evenings and I would sit with markers and create coloring pages.  I loved to color but at that time there were no Adult Coloring Books like we have now.  Therefore I made my own.  That is how Markerings by EAGHL were created.  I am grateful to Ileana for telling me about this 29 FACES CHALLENGE so I can do some drawing again.  Gradually I am picking up steam and loving it again for the first time since Ron died in  2013.
