ReplyDeleteI bought "the car of my dreams" brand new in 2003. A Saab. Cost as much as my first house but I justified it to myself by saying I would have the car for the rest of my driving life. Can you spell L-E-M-O-N?

ReplyDeletePatti, I love my little Chevy Colorado pickup truck. It is a 2008 but one day I will upgrade to a newer Colorado. Not guessing Prius will make a pickup but you never know.
ReplyDeleteOlga, please tell me you got some help from the dealer? I had a friend who paid big bucks for a jeep and it was a lemon. It took her a while but she finally got a replacement.

DeleteI would want a Tesla. But I happen to love my current car. It is a 1997 Toyota Corolla. It has 225, 000 Km. on it. That's about 140, 000 miles.
ReplyDeleteI bought my first SUV in 1987 - a Crevy Blazer (that's not a typo, it was a Crevrolet). I got used to sitting up high and have owned SUVs ever since.
ReplyDeleteMy folks used to have a 1968, candy apple red, Mustang convertible with black leather interior that is a dream car for me, but it just wouldn't be practical nowadays.
Right now, I love Tara, my 2012 Nissan X-terra who has 6,400 miles on her and still has that new car smell.
I've had two red cars now covering about about 16 years & never been stopped by the police. Thankfully.
ReplyDeleteHave to say I'm not into cars. They're a necessity at the moment but one of these days I'll just be able to use my bus pass which will be much cheaper than running a car. Not sure I'll be able to get my husband to do without it though!
me always practical - okay that is a lie, but i have own enough flashy cars that all i want is old reliable
