- Seeing the photo of my newly engaged niece - so happy now after so much heartbreak before.
- I have too many family moments of rejoicing to list. I do have one surprising moment outside of family and that was learning one of my digital art paintings will appear in a book that is in the process of being published now.

ReplyDeleteBest? Hard because being with my grandchildren is always a joy. I made some new friends and that was good!
ReplyDeleteGetting up at 2:00 am and seeing on my phone Trump won.
ReplyDeleteNot to sound too woo-woo, but I try to find gratitude for every moment. Of course, sorry changes, I lost in that effort when I learned the tweeter elect had won the election.
ReplyDeletejust another good year of retirement and reasonable health
ReplyDeleteso many good moments, impossible to choose
ReplyDeleteLots of good things in my immediate family, and Trump won!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you Granny Annie! That is awesome! :-)
ReplyDeleteMine might be...having (needed) insight come to me about my relationship with my own self and with my (own) family.

Having shared so many positive moments with my spouse in spite of the struggle against Alzheimer's.
ReplyDeleteSitting beside my 8-year-old grandson playing video games when he just spontaneously said, "I love you Nana." Yeah, that was the best moment of the year.
ReplyDeleteHard to pin a moment down. I am surrounded by beauty and am grateful for it.
ReplyDeleteCan't find just one but every morning I wake up is pretty special.
ReplyDeleteOh, boy! That's a hard one. I probably had 365 of them, I suppose. Each morning when I woke up!
ReplyDeleteVisiting with ALL my sibs this September at Marshfield beach. It had been years!
ReplyDeleteFinally giving in and having a hearing test and finding out I'm not going deaf after all, my hearing is close to normal and I don't need hearing aids. More recently my health insurance paid the full cost of my new reading glasses.
ReplyDeleteOne of your arts is going to be in a book? Wow. This is such an exiting moment.
ReplyDeleteSpending time with my grand kids and talking to them is something I always look forward to.
Oh my gosh, Too many to mention, 2016 was an excellent year! Even with being sick.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I think I've got it.
ReplyDeleteCaitlin flinched as a blue spark of electricity shot from the hydro tower above. That could be a potential disaster in the greenhouse she gasped. I’d best get over there quickly. If memory serves, the last time this happened we lost nearly all our winter roses.
Matthew met Caitlin at the door to the greenhouse complex. “ It was a terrorist attack in Carterville.” he shouted. “This is an outrage. Do you realize how much cash we stand to lose?”
Caitlin shook her head sadly. “ Honest Matthew; is that all you care about? What about all those people in Carterville? Aren’t they worth more than a few frozen red roses. So our heat and light and the fan went out. Big deal What was the intention of the terrorists? I can tell you it wasn’t to destroy our cash crop. Their intention was to cause death and destruction in yet another innocent settlement. You can’t begin to draw a parallel between what the people of Carterville are experiencing and our situation here. “
“You’re right of course Caitlin. Let’s get over there and see what we can do to help.”
“Good, and then I’ll help you get the greenhouse sorted out.”
My trip to Vegas this year was a dream come true for me.
ReplyDeleteIt was probably when my elder son was here late summer - just the two of us and we shopped and cooked and ate healthy meals for a few days.
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, it was celebrating his first birthday with my new grandson.
