  1. A yes, you do not have to haul wood, crack ice off the pond or harness up the horses. Life is good.

  2. These are good things to be thankful for.
My daughter loves the video in your last posting. Also, it is terrific that you had an article published. Good job!

  3. Nothing like a Four Wheel drive in the snow. Stay warm over there!

  4. Good list. I have one in seven, not bad for an ol granny.

  5. With quite the opposite problem and a week of relentless heat I am very grateful that 'this too will pass'. And hope that the fires currently burning can be contained without more loss of life and property.

  6. I had a malware warning when I came here today! (I proceeded anyway.) Do you know what causes that?

Anyway, those are all great things to be grateful for. I am especially grateful for blankets today!

  7. I hope you are staying warm! And I did get to see the surveillance video finally - that's pretty funny. :)

  8. That pretty much sums it up! I am grateful for the guys who get up at Ridiculous O'clock in the morning to shovel my condo complex so that I can stay snuggled in my bed.

How did our ancestors do it? I am a sissy in comparison.

    Changes in the wind
I thought I was going to get to be warm but awakened this morning to another winter blast after a couple of days of teasing warmer temps.

This past week was a tough one to find some words of gratitude. Glad your daughter enjoyed my unruly hens. Yes my article in Countryside Magazine was a delight about the hen trying to sit on the new kittens.

    LL Cool Joe
My little truck does not do well on snow and ice so the van is my vehicle of choice in winter.

Are you going to tell me which “one”. By the way, loved the National Anthem you sent.

    Elephant's Child
I know you have it rough right now in your part of the world and hope things will get better soon. Glad to hear from you. It has been a while.

I am also grateful for your surprise of anxiety freedom! No idea why you would get malware warning when coming to my blog. Wonder if anyone else did?

It was warmer here for a couple of days then this morning, “Pow, right in the kisser!” (Do you remember that expression?) Freezing temps back and light snow. I HATE IT!!! Glad you got to see the chicken run.

    Sparkling Red
And there you have the advantage of paying a membership fee to the condo association. Sleep tight.
