FILL IN THE BLANK

Question Of The Week 1-21-13

It's your turn.  What would be your question of the week?

_____________________________________________________________________?
(Fill in the blank by putting your question in the comment section.  My son suggested this when I was whining about not having a question this week. You see, my brain is fried from inhaling concrete dust and drywall all week.)

  1. My Question is What would you do to fill your creative writing urge if you did not blog? (My other question is "Are you remodeling?")

  2. Tabor -- Blogging fills my reading and writing urges. If I cannot think of anything to write, my entertainment comes from reading what others, such as you, come up with. Yes, we are adding a bathroom and remodeling the other two. More details on my previous post:)

  3. all that reovation tends to make a foggy brain - stay healthy in the midst of i all- I only have my normal questions about everything and there are too many of them to list! Good luck

  4. Brite Mist -- Thanks for stopping by. Now I have a question for you. What does "Add to Circles" mean? I don't have any circles. This is the second time I have seen this and don't know about it. Oh yes, we are hoping to remain healthy in all this dust. My spouse has breathing problems anyway so hope this project will end soon.

  5. How about "what has been the happiest time of your life?" I never have to think about that - it's the two years I went back to college full time in 2003-2004. I was so sad when it was over. I loved learning, the other students, most professors, my varied schedule - even being at the concrete campus of Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta. It gave me a love of downtown. I hardly ever went there before.

  6. Do you have any regrets?

  7. Lynn -- That is a tough one. Getting to know my children as they grew into such wonderful beings; The laughter Ron has brought into my life; Banking as a career before merger madness; growing up in a warm and loving home....stop me please!

LL Cool Joe -- My ex-husband apologized to me once for my regrets and I said, "What regrets? I've got the two best kids in the world and I would do it all over just to have them." It is hard to have regrets when life has brought so much good out of even the worst times.

  8. If you suddenly came into a lot of money... (lottery, inheritance, etc) how much of the green stuff would it take to make you change your life substantially??

  9. Cliff -- That is a good question. I believe a large sum of money would probably change my life substantially for the worse. Just another dollar bill and substantial good health is the lottery I would want us to win.

  10. This post came at the most perfect time. I had just decided to do a little blog reading after spending some time on Facebook, and after experiencing an incident that I didn't even know of, I got the perfect question.

"Have you, through no fault of your own, ever been banned from participating in an event, either real world or online?"

Background to the question: I was invited to an event that a fellow writer created that would allow people to show/share their book trailers.

The writer belatedly created a ground rule that no nudity would be allowed (he considers it pornographic) and if the trailer had it, he would pull it.

Now, the only nudity that my book trailer has is my book cover, so through no fault of my own, I got banned from the event.

  11. I have an important question. I can't find anywhere on your page to "follow" you. I've tried before and tried today! Please let me know how.

  12. Since today is the inauguration, what one thing would you like to see accomplished in President Obama's second term?

  13. Yikes! Hope your brain unfries.

If you could pick anyone in the world to be your coworker, who would it be?

  14. G.B. Miller -- That was a very interesting situation. Something about it just doesn't seem right. I don't like the term "banned".

Belle -- I removed the "followers" section to my blog because I found myself thinking more about the number of followers rather than the quality of followers. Thank you for being a follower even thought I don't have a section to click:)

Susan Adcox -- Fair play and bipartisanship.

Riot Kitty -- Already fried, fried fried crispier than taters. I have my favorite co-worker and his name is Ron:)

  15. I must be Semi-Psychic or something, cause on my last ESR post partially about MLK Day, I wrote:

If there were a holiday invented to commemorate you, what would the main theme be?

I think mine would be about creativity... Everyone do a project for fun that day! Micheal's little one dollar kits come to mind. I give them out for Xmas n got one for me I haven't done yet...

  16. Snaggle Tooth -- That's a great question. The theme for my day would have to be "Now go find someone worthy of celebrating."

  18. What is your favorite movie of all times?
    Ralph

  19. My question is - how can I rouse myself out of this mid Januarey torpor?

    ReplyDelete
  20. ashok -- Thank you very much. It is an honor that you would find me a good addition to the blogosphere. I do know that you definitely were most deserving of the honor. Congratulations!

Ralph -- That is such a tough question. I guess I would have to say John Wayne in THE COWBOYS. What would yours be?

Pat -- That is usually my condition in the winter, but ours is so mild this year and we are so busy I cannot give in to such lethargy.
