FUTURISTIC PONDERING

Question Of The Week

Where do you see  yourself in ten years?

  1. Hopefully still alive and well. But it's all in God's hands, not mine.

  2. LL Cool Joe -- Perhaps "alive" is the first wish we all will have. But you did present a whole wellspring of theological discussion. Maybe that will be for another of my questions of the week for bloggers... "Do you believe all is predestined and foreordained?"

  3. Probably in the mirror, that is if I still fit.

  4. Cliff -- If you keep stepping back you can see more as the mirror begins to shrink. Wish we had a bigger house because I'm already against the wall.

  5. I see myself living healthy, joyfully and generously with LOVE all around me from relationships of all kinds. Materially comfortable and thus able to give of myself to others , knowing abundance will only increase, the more I give.

  6. Hopefully enjoying the grandbabies and family as I do now. Only all the time instead of just weekends and holiday. I'm planning on being retired by then.

  11. Great picture. Must be a photoshop I think.

Alive is my hopeful answer also! I'd like to have better work n home conditions while I'm at it. Striking it rich would help. Then I could start some businesses. make some films for fun, n travel about in my private jet with my pilot lisence so I wouldn't waste so much travel time.
    The possibilities are endless...

  12. sonny -- You made a wonderful statement for your future. I believe I could adopt that as a goal for myself.

Bonnie -- Oh I hope you are retired by then too. I've never known anyone to spend more time marking off the days of the week in anticipation of the weekend. Just remember, though, than in 10 years you're going to have teenage granddaughters to deal with. LOL

Lynn -- Retirement is a wonderful goal and a wonderful place to be in life. I can see you truly being one to enjoy retirement years. And hey, we all have to take a computer break once in a while.

Nancy -- Oh me too Nancy! That reminds me. Our new day laborer (high school kid) was going to help his dad lay sod and Ron told him to remember to keep repeating "Green side up. Green side up."

Scarlet -- You're already living your goal. You are the only person I know who can travel to far away places by simply holding still.

Chatty Crone -- Good answer Sandie. I guess I might not want to know either. I do love surprises.

Snaggle Tooth -- Another photo stolen from google images and yes, I'm sure it is photo shop. How exciting that you see so many endless possibilities for your future. That sure says a lot about you.

  15. That is a thought provoking question.
It is funny but whenever there are questions like these, I always try to relate to "how was dad at that age?"
Maybe the only reference that I can think of.
