# 2000

This is post number 2000 on the 7th Anniversary of FOOLS RUSH IN by Granny Annie!!!

Thank you all for escorting me here either by commenting or simply viewing. I felt your support and encouragement!

Since I will not be posting for a while in order to catch my breath, please feel free to wander through the 52 links to my marathon posts  on the sidebar and comment on anything you might have missed. I'm going to be catching up reading blogs and commenting.

A few of you did not allow rain, nor sleet, nor complete boredom keep you away from the designated path of cheering me on to victory every single day.  (OMG! How corny can I get?)

Blog friends are among the best in the world.  It is easy to welcome each and every one of you into my home daily.  It is is so sad to say goodbye to dear blog friends who have died.   It is difficult to part ways with some when we cannot agree to disagree.  It is fun to welcome new blog friends into the circle. It is comforting to hear from blog friends who feel my pain. It is exhilarating to share joyful times together.

Thank you for being my friends for 7 years!  Let's go another 7...(maybe).

Status summary for the Seven Years:
Total Blog Posts = 2000
Total Page Views = 78,811 +
Total comments = 12,200
Followers = 104

Seven years older and seven years wiser!

Congratulations! You did it! Way to hang in there. In a society where quitting is easy and often time rewarded it's great when someone sets a goal & follows through even if they stumble a lil bit, which you never do...Great inspiration!

WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Granny!

You are such a good and loyal commenter on my blog, that I wanted to support your marathon by commenting on each post. Sorry about missing the dental post, but have gone back put a comment on it now. :) Clean sweep!

CONGRATULATIONS!! What an achievement,Annie. I'm proud of you.

I looked back to see when the first time was that you commented to me about one of my stories at the Elder Storytelling Place and it was in 2008. So, we have been friends for 4 years and I hope we remain friends for many more.

Congratulations! I'm just under 1000 posts and coming up on four years, so you have a edge on me. I, too, love making virtual friends. Thanks for being one of mine!

Dear Annie ~~ Congratulations
on 2000 posts - you have done well. Enjoy your break
but don't stay away too long.
I agree with you my friend, that if men listened, women
wouldn't have to talk o much. But they are only jokes, so don't fret it Annie. Take great care dear friend. Love and Hugs, Merle.

Merle said...

Hi again Dear Annie ~~ Thank you for your nice comments and it sure is good to be getting better and better and I really enjoy sharing the jokes that friends and relatives send me. You take great care dear friend and enjoy your break. Love, Merle

Snaggle Tooth -- My sentiments exactly! Thanks for your company on this strange journey.

Cranethie -- Cathy, you have been very supportive and I thank you. I'm loving your new blog and if I can't figure out how to get follow-up comments back on blogger, I might join you over there,.

Lynn -- I'm thinking I hit a nerve on the dentist post because it is the only one you missed of the 52. Hope I didn't awaken a memory of a horror story. Thank a bunch for your support.

Cliff -- What can I say? If there was a prize for 100% commenting in the marathon you would be the winner. Thanks a bunch. So, when will you guys be in Oklahoma? Maybe we can buy you dinner as your prize.

sonny -- So great to see you along the way. Now, where are those cupcakes for the party? Yep, hopefully another 7 years but right now I'm pooped and want to catch up on my blog friends that I have neglected

Tabor --
Dani --
Debbie --
Thank you for celebrating with me!

Nancy -- Maybe 2008 is right, but I feel like I've known you forever. Thanks for all your good suggestions to help me through this.

Changes in the wind -- I have come closer to meeting you in person than any other blogger. I will always regret our last minute company that kept us from going to Tulsa when you were there. You are my favorite book author for sure!

Judy -- Oh my yes, Judy. You and I are such loyal followers I actually believe we met on my first blog that I had started two years before. I'm pretty sure you were part of the ageless project, right?

Rae -- Band Grandparents together! Thanks for all your encouragement.

Granny Annie said...

Sparkling Red --It was some epic blogging alright. Yikes! What was I thinking? Anyway, I hit the 2000 and that is unbelievable to me. It is sure fun knowing you and also great to enjoy your returning health with you.

Jessi -- Thanks for showing up on this most auspicious occasion:) Yep, it's all your doing.

Pat MacKenzie -- It has been fun meeting you and keeping up with your sprints between Canada and Arizona:)

Riot Kitty -- Thank you! And...need you ask:)

Monalisa -- It is surprising you were able to "pop in" at all with a new baby to occupy your life:) Hope you are enjoying parenthood.

JeanMac -- It is such a pleasure to know someone of your strength.

Chatty Crone -- Thanks for all the laughter!

Bonnie -- Rossi Jean is such a clever child:) She probably learned that phrase from telling her grandpa that he "did it" by surviving his heart problems.

Talon -- Thanks for celebrating with me.

Pat -- Thank you. And thanks for picking up a couple of missed posts in the marathon.

Dianne -- I'm bowing:)

Adam -- You certainly helped by creating my Counter Terrorist Rooster, Jack Bauer. He has gotten more attention than any of the critters on my blog and became famous for the outfit you created. Thank you for everything!

Granny Annie said...

Lisa -- Thank you. Wish you had a blog.

Susan Adcox -- Wow you are moving along smartly for being in your fourth year of blogging. Wish you have been around when our grandchildren were younger. Still you've got some great posts for me.

Merle -- Thank you for both comments. My brain may start to regroup now that spring break is over and the grandchildren have all returned home. We had a wonderful time with three of our eight:)

Shionge -- Thank you Betty for stopping by. It was an exhausting process to write those 52 posts so quickly toward the date to reach the 2000 and I wouldn't suggest anyone else do it. Definitely created burn-out.

Rachel -- Hello Rachel. We certainly do go back a long way don't we? You have been such a good friend and supporter. One of these days we're going to get to Kentucky to visit:) We just missed a chance to meet Cliff and Marilyn while they were in Oklahoma due to conflicting schedules.

LL Cool Joe -- Thanks for the "congrats" and the encouragement to continue blogging. I am trying to restore some lost functions to my blog and am hoping to have that done before I return. Meanwhile I'm trying to read other blogs and keep up as well as I can.

Nezzy --Thank. It has been a tiring marathon. It is my plan now to start blogging again on Monday, April 9th but I'll keep reading and commenting on others. I'm trying to make some changes on blog during this sabbatical. By the way, 134 good ones FYI!

Whitemist --I won't be blogging again until April 9th. Thanks for thinking of me though. That is the most unusual meme. I will tell you that the worst movie I ever sat through was THE TOXIC AVENGER.

Blunt Delivery --I have been on an "announced" hiatus since my 7th Anniversary. Wore myself out with the marathon of 52 posts to reach the 2000. Would not advise that for anyone else. Meanwhile, back to you, I sense there is more to your "unannounced" hiatus but will attempt not to pry. I will, however, ask why I cannot link back to your blog by clicking on your name above? Have you been making drastic changes on your new computer? Much happier just to know you are back instead of worrying about why you were gone:)

Granny Annie said...

Pat -- Happy Easter to you. Thanks for coming back to offer this greeting. I shall return to blogging on Monday. (4-9-12)

Dianne said...

Happy Easter!
I came by to tell you that Hope's cookies weren't too funny tasting, just a little dry :)

Dianne, you know I have a granddaughter "Hope" also! She is 9 and is turning into a very nice baker:)
