ReplyDeleteRalph, we currently have 8 roosters, including Caesar. Many of my surviving Spring chicks are roosters and I could get rid of them if I was willing to let them be put in the pot. I've found a good home for one where a rooster was needed. If I just wouldn't name the darn things it would be easier to part with them.
ReplyDeleteYes Z, I could sell them and I am actually thinking about taking a picture of each one and posting locally to see if anyone is interested. To have eight roosters in a flock of 27 chickens is a bit much.
So you've added another cocky rooster to the fold.
ReplyDeleteCaesar is a great name for a he. If he were a she, the name would suggest she was somewhat of a dike.
