  2. Saturday. I made a pot of potato soup that was far different than my usual. Far better too.

  6. I'm exploring the new terrain behind our property that was clear cut as fire mitigation. It's familiar ground but all the trails are gone so I have to find my way. I'm always exhilarated when I return home.

Last time I tried new is to use paint crayons , I can draw and then with a wet tissue paper spread the paint an it looks like a really painted . It is neat but mine looks like a kids work. It was fun.

  10. Last week I tried Almond milk in my breakfast porridge. It was awful and I emptied the rest of the carton down the sink. I'll stick with regular milk, or oat milk if it is on special.

  11. I spent Christmas and the beginning April I took trains that I never took before and saw many new things. All the while, I was teaching myself new patterns and techniques for knitting hats and socks. In fact, I am currently trying a new way to knit a heel and have plans to learn another new one on the next thing I knit.

  12. I know this will sound weird, but early retirement. I've spent most of my adult life working and was planning that until I was forced out, but as 2020 was drawing to a close, I decided that there was simply too much change going on at work and I didn't want to deal with it anymore (no, this wasn't Covid related).

So simply sitting on my butt and getting paid for simply sitting on my butt (or whatever else I choose to do with my time), is a new exciting concept for me.

  13. I've been told I have to do more exercise. So I have to do some exercise every day, that's new for me! YUK!!!
