A bit of both. I think we are masters of our own destinies for the most part. Life can throw you fastballs though, but for the most part we shape our own fate.
Pretty sure I try to. With some of my actions the consequences were not thought out properly, others proved to be quite successful. No one counted on a pandemic which altered a lot of people's fates.
Maybe. If you just lay back and let life roll over you, then no, but if you actively choose what, where, when and why, then you can shape your fate at least a little. I hope.
