This week's prompts are:
Sea Side Rescue by Granny Annie
Delbert was curmudgeonly. It seems he was always eager to dredge up past bad experiences. He was never gentle in plying the pins and needles he would stick into his memories of blame. They were like hispid lined around a hedgerow by the time he finished his disgruntled tales of woe.
The villagers recalled the time a pink dolphin was trapped in a sea-cave. Scruffy old Delbert blamed the actual rescuers for making matters worse. The divers had saved the very rare mammal and were hailed as heroes by everyone except Delbert. Though successful, he knew the rescue was not how he thought it should have been done.
