That is a very good question--I'd say "That we're ALL getting older". That may sound silly but when you're under 50, you don't see yourself becoming a senior citizen. 10 years later when you lose a couple teeth & your hair has turned gray... oh boy!
My oldest child has turned 50 and my second child approaches 50 and they both are receiving notices that they are eligible for AARP. Now they know they are getting older.
That I should have listened to myself rather than the people who influenced me. I was the only one who had my own best interest at heart. After that, God loves the woman my ex-husband cheated with as much as He loves me. Neither lesson has been welcomed.
My parents were right.

DeleteThat asking for help is not a sign of weakness. I DON'T have to do it all on my own, carrying on regardless.
