Lyrics
Bye bye love
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
There goes my baby with-a someone new
She sure looks happy, I sure am blue
She was my baby till he stepped in
Goodbye to romance that might have been
She sure looks happy, I sure am blue
She was my baby till he stepped in
Goodbye to romance that might have been
Bye bye love
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
I'm-a through with romance, I'm a-through with love
I'm through with a'countin' the stars above
And here's the reason that I'm so free
My lovin' baby is through with me
I'm through with a'countin' the stars above
And here's the reason that I'm so free
My lovin' baby is through with me
Bye bye love
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Bye bye my love goodby-eye
Well that takes me back...to junior high school!
ReplyDeleteAww, I miss Don and Phil. I guess only Don is left.
ReplyDeleteloved the song...thanks
ReplyDeleteThe words are sad but this song always makes me feel happy.
ReplyDeleteA golden oldie.
ReplyDeleteBobby Vee always said he thought the arrangement of this song was too cheerful for the lyrics. Still a classic. I saw Don and Phil sing this live.
ReplyDeleteOh what a great tip. I am going to sing for ten minutes each day now. I need to clear my sinuses lol.
ReplyDeleteI hope that all is well with you.
What fun memories such songs bring. Yes, i sing for a bit each day, but i promise it’s only in the car where no one can hear me. After all, Sweetie sings in the choir, and i help the choir by not singing!
ReplyDeleteDid you know that singing daily for ten minutes causes nearby dogs to howl and neighbours to start locking doors and windows? Ha Ha. Yes, I'm that bad.
ReplyDeleteI love the song, but I'm not clicking the link this week, it took almost the whole of last week to get the Honeycomb song out of my head. I had to listen to my entire playlist twice last Thursday.
Oh my gosh! I remember this!
