Have you attended a school class reunion? Would you do it again?
I did attend my 50th high school class reunion and immediately after I wished I had not. However, now I believe I will attend the next one if I'm still alive.
Even though two schools claim me as a graduate and send me notices--one was actually a year and half short of graduation---I haven't been nor will I ever. Last year was our 60th. I really want to keep those memories young and vibrant.
I went to my tenth--- it was a good time, but everyone was still young and their brains hadn't calcified. That was a long time ago. But if it were not hundreds if miles away, I certainly would go again-
Went to my 5th and 10th, and then i stopped getting invitations. The alumni group still sends me mail, so they have my address, and i get the “we are going to have a reunion, save the date” mailing, then the next thing i get is always the newsletter telling how nice the reunion was. Someone doesn’t want me there, and so that’s okay, i will not go.
I went to a couple of reunions but by the time 50 rolled around I was really done with that high school scene. I can't imagine going to another reunion. I have never been to a college reunion.
Never. Class reunions are not common out here. There was a yearly reunion from the factory I worked for, but I was not told it would be happening and found out only five years later. That was hurtful, I'd thought we were all friends there. I wouldn't attend one after that even if I did get invited.
I went to my 30th class reunion, but didn't enjoy it very much. And I got the award for "most changed." I didn't know what to make about that. :) I guess I was a lot more quiet and serious when I was in high school, and had very long hair that I used to keep painstakingly straight. I doubt I'll go to another.
Never. My group of high school friends and I didn't really enjoy high school that much and, thus, are not likely to attend any reunions. We prefer a more casual setting without having to interact with people we didn't like then and probably won't like now.
I did my 30th and was very disappointed in that everyone was still in the same old same old cliques. I don't believe I will be doing anymore in the future.
I've only attended one...back around 1981/82...thereabouts. I wouldn't attend another.
I'm still good friends with six people from those years of so long ago - from my school years....I've no need or desire to meet up with others who mean little to me...(and vice versa, no doubt).
I attended the 5 year and none since. Both Bob and I were in the same class. We figure we have a reunion and a reminder of the class of 1962 every day of the year.
Had to skip the Library due to a foot injury at work this week! I attended 3 reunions so far. Skipped a $75 cook-out tho! One at Post 440, One at a home BBQ, One on the ship "Spirit of Boston" harbor cruise. I have won the first child, first Grandchild prizes.
I should explain I went to a small catholic school with the same 60 people for 12 years. I actually know most of them well, n some are now FB friends since I got on! I know for sure none of them would ever do that killing stuff on the news. We were all taught to have a conscience!
I did attend the10th. I think I went to the 45th or was it the 40th? Sigh... I don’t remember. It was lovely to see everyone, but my problem is my memory. I couldn’t remember most of their names. The group I hung out with is not the group that organizes these outings so I end up never going. I wouldn’t mind though.

I attended my 10th, and it was kind of boring because I don't think we'd been gone long enough. Haven't attended another. We have fb now :P
