My Daughter and SIL have worked hard to divide my house into two apartments and move his mother into half. We have had a very difficult start but there is nothing to do but make it work.
She is 79 and I am 80. This is our own retirement home. Our children live close. Meanwhile I am struggling with cancer and her health is perfect. I will start my chemo and radiation on the 19th...5 days a week for 6 weeks.
Damn I hate aging and was not ready for it.

I am sorry that you're having health issues and sending you lots of good healing wishes. It's great that the kiddos live close. That helps.
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic for 80. Very beautiful. I'm sorry about the cancer and will light a healing candle for you. You must have a large house to be able to make it into two apartments. I hope it all works out.
ReplyDeleteYou look great irrespective of your age! You are certainly dealing with some stressful transitions right now with your health and housing situations, and I wish you all the best!
ReplyDeleteYou look so very young. Healing hugs for a successful treatment.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. ♥
I am praying you recover and the two of you work out ways to share the house.
ReplyDeleteYou look great! 🤞🤞fingers crossed the chemo does a good job and hope you don't get too sick from the effects.
ReplyDeleteCertainly doesn't sound like dorm room living, but similar. (I literally put a stripe of tape down the middle of the dresser and floor with my long-time friend in our college dorm room. Loved her but she was messy.) Prayers said for easy chemo treatments and recovery. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteNot bad for 80 indeed! I love the idea of making your own retirement home and hope it works out great for all. You are strong Grannie Annie and you can get through this cancer round, just take it one day at a time. We are alll pulling for you.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers for your successful chemo treatments.
ReplyDeleteLook cool for 80 👍
ReplyDeleteAnnie, you really do look wonderful. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. It's hard, but I'm sending you lots of aloha and healing thoughts.
