Yes. 2 teenage boys came into our house while we slept and stole my purse. Another time, our 2 waverunners were stolen from our river camp. A couple of angel statues were stolen from our front porch. An expensive gas powered leaf blower was stolen from our storeroom. A gun was stolen from my husbands truck parked in our driveway. And……we don’t even live in a high crime area!
I was home alone when a man broke into the house. When he saw me he ran away. My guitar was stolen from my dorm room when I was home from college for Easter break.
No, but I worry about it. Old people are such targets for all kinds of awful things.

ReplyDeleteYes, someone opened a window and reached through the burglar bars to see what they could get. The old jewel box was too close, unfortunately.
