The best compliment I ever got was from a paralegal friend in Winnipeg 35 years ago -- she said "Debra, you may be a lawyer, but you're not a Suit." That meant a lot to me, lol!
A professional photographer took my picture a while back for the cat shelter, of me holding and playing with cats, and he told me I was a naturally photogenic model and he'd love to help me get a portfolio together because they need models of all ages and sizes for things these days. I'm not so sure I believe it really, but it was so sweet to hear.
One day when my elderly parents were visiting my home Dad got up from his chair and walked toward me and said "You are so beautiful..." I will never forget how that made me feel.
Hubby telling me I was a pearl of great price.
