WORDS FOR WEDNESDAY 12-30-2020

Thank you Elephant's Child for the way you keep this weekly practice going.  These were definitely interesting prompts to close out 2020 and the photo provided is lovely.  Next month we will look forward to the prompts provided by Charlotte (Mother Owl).

LUNCH BREAK by Granny Annie

Exhausted, the COVID nurse sat on the hillside watching the sun caresses the universe with prisms of light. Joyfully this created a diverse kind of architecture to turn her thoughts in a reverse direction. She could now rehearse her return to the hospital ward with less terse responses toward the demands of the ill patients. This beautiful scene was a reminder that the whole world was also praying for her.

  4. A lovely use of the prompts. I sure wish all the Covid nurses had the chance to sit to watch the sun caress the universe and rest after a long period of emotionally and physically draining work day.

  8. Indeed, we are. It's not easy to be a medical worker at any time, now it must be impossible.

  10. Hi Grannie Annie - I bet so many health care workers feel like your nurse - there just doesn't seem to be any reprieve for them ... let's hope life eases for them soon. Take care - Hilary
