JUICER, COFFEE POT, CAN OPENER

Question Of The Week 06-25-18

What countertop appliances do you use...
 or own but never use?

(Thanks for missing me.  I am back and have been absent for no reason except busy. Hope to catch up soon.)

  1. First off, so thankful and relieved that you were missing just because you were busy. :)

We use a toaster, and a coffee pot...those are the only two counter top appliances, BUT I have a glorious new mixing bowl set I can't wait to put on the counter soon!

  6. So glad you were just busy and happy you are back. Missed your questions. Nothing on the counter but under is an appliance graveyard. Need to make a trip to Goodwill.

    1. I wonder if Goodwill would take them. They are awfully picky about what they think they can resell. Thanks for missing the questions. I will try to stay up with them.

  7. Lovely to see you, and glad that your absence was just busyness.
I have a food processor which rarely gets used.

    1. Thanks for wondering where I was. It's good to be back...at least I think I am back. My son recently grabbed my food processor out of storage only to take it home and find out it was broken:-(

  8. Another one pleased to see you:)
As for unused 'big things' in my kitchen- well there seem to be more of them than those that are used lol
The toaster, crock pot and sandwich maker are all in good order.
The food processor with attached blender could be in working order, so too could the big mixing thing with all the whisks and hooks and bowls, alongside them in the cupboard is one of those hand held whisking beater thing and a coffee maker thing that has a milk frother for making the cappuccinos that a daughter thought her father needed.
We might try them one day, before they go down the road to the charity shop.

    1. Hi Cathy:-) Yes, it is most difficult to get rid of appliances that family members gave us. They will know:-)

  9. All of the above, plus electric jug, toaster...and sometimes, my blender, processor and NutriBullet. Oh! And sometimes my electric jaffle/toasted sandwich maker.

    1. I love my sandwich maker. Everyone has made me remember things that are under the counter that I have forgotten about.

  11. Regular toaster, sandwich toaster, electric kettle, slow cooker, blender, microwave oven, coffee&spice grinder, hand held electric mixer, but rarely, electric frypan, also rarely, and of course they don't all live on my tiny two feet of bench space.

    1. Wow, you've got a lot under the counter. Surely the microwave is on the counter.

  13. The one appliance I actually own outright (long story) is a small 1100 watt microwave that I use on a daily basis. Every other appliance in the house is almost never used, save for the can opener, oven & stove.

    1. I did not even think of listing my microwave as a countertop appliance. You and River are the only ones who did. LOL

  14. A KitchenAid electric kettle that was purchased and never used until my stove stopped working and now I'm using it to make tea, until I can force myself to purchase a new stove. :)
