  4. You sure gave us some doozies this week, Annie! Here is my attempt...at 10.40 pm Wednesday evening!!

"Waylon was ready to REPUDIATE any and all accusations thrown at him. His FIDELITY to his duties and the rules of flying was undeniable; without question.

There was a very good reason why he was forced to FLAT-HAT the twin-engine De Havilland Otter seaplane so close to the shore, and at such a dangerous speed. He was fully aware the beach was crowded with summer holidaymakers. They safety was paramount. He knew he’d made the correct decision.

It would be up to the company’s experts and other authorities to ASSAY the situation that caused his seemingly reckless behaviour before any legal action could be taken or any charges laid. Waylon calmly waited on the sidelines, feeling no pressure. The truth would out.

He had years of unblemished flying experience behind him. Waylon’s rights, in moments when split-decisions had to be made, were INALIENABLE. He had never been known to have acted in a LUDIC manner. Flying was second nature to him. It was his art, his craft; a craft he took seriously at all times. His reflexes were immediate and his eye sight as keen as that of an 18-year old.

Just beyond the shoreline was a BOSKY area thick with grasses, bushes and shrubs covered in SERICEOUS leaves. The fine, silky hair on the upper side of the leaves gave off a silvery sheen under the sun’s rays. that led into a heavily wooded area.

If Waylon had attempted to bring the seaplane down beyond the dunes, or on the beach, the outcome would have been very different - not only to Waylon and his passenger, but to the folk on the beach, as well. The body count would have been high.

Waylon was no POLTRON, not like that contemptible coward, Jude, with whom he flew during their two tours of duty in Afghanistan. As far as Waylon was concerned, Jude’s behaviour was the personification of the lowest violation of moral principle; the TURPITUDE of perverse immorality. Waylon found it impossible to CONSTRUE how one human being could treat his fellowmen in such a vile way.

When brought before the tribunal to watch Jude squirm when under pressure; to listen to his lies, one after the other, told in a erratic, DITHYRAMBic manner turned Waylon’s stomach. He had to leave the court room for fear he would leap forth and grab the scum by his throat."

  11. 'Oh dear. I am pretty certain that you are going to construe this in a way I didn't intend. Never mind. I feel strongly enough about it to assay a dithyramb, to try and convince you to be yourself. We have known each other for a long, long time. As far as I am concerned our friendship in inalienable - but you are testing that resolve.
It would be the act of a poltroon rather than a faithful friend (or companion noted for her fidelity as you would say at the moment) to stay silent.

Your father's moral turpitude is well known. He flat-hatted the nude beach on a regular basis, and sold videos of those runs. He is a drinker, a bigot and a womaniser. He cheats at cards. He prides himself on calling a spade a spade - or more likely a bloody effing spade.
You have repudiated his actions. Publically.
You are NOT your father. And swallowing a dictionary and spewing out long and unintelligible words doesn't make us think you are intelligent. It makes you sound like a pompous idiot.
AND, if I hear you describe your daughters baby-fine hair as sericeous one more time I will throw up on you. PS: That also goes for ludic. She is two for heavens sake. She is spontaneous and playful. She is not, not, not ludic.'

  14. EVIL ANNIE by Granny Annie

The Words For Wednesday crowd might have said that Annie went at the job like a flat-hat, flying around and picking words in a reckless manner. She saw it all as an inalienable task that others might construe as evil. Still she believed they could easily come up with a short story or a nice dithyramb using the words she supplied. Annie only wanted to prove fidelity to the group. She planned the words as she sat in front of her computer patting her sericious pups Slim and Frankie.

Annie was not a poltroon. She was definitely feeling ludic when she picked the words for September yet the others defined her as having word-turpitude and wanted to repudiate her. She looked for a bosky place to hide while she decided to assay the remaining words to be used the rest of the month. Annie had already selected them and decided she would remain steadfast in her efforts. All the whiners would just have to tough it out. Besides it never hurts to increase one's vocabulary:-)

    2. Don't encourage Annie, good people...she doesn't need any encouragement. She's there rubbing her hands together in glee! But we won't surrender! No way! Stand strong!!

We're up, ready for the tasks ahead! Bring it on, Annie!!! :)

By the way - I love your use of the words, Annie! :)
