Here is my story using the first six words:
dominant,
carpet, magazine, duster, finicky, display
DEAR SISTER by Granny Annie
I am the baby sister. It is difficult to help my older sister because she is the dominant one. Still I knew she needed my help so, even against her protest, I headed to her home insisting I could give aid.
It was her job to take care of her husband. He was recovering from emergency surgery. I would take care of everything else. HA! It was not a pretty display as she tried to keep an eye on me and her beloved spouse.
She did not think my vacuuming of the carpet was correct. The magazine stand had to be positioned a certain way. She was a Swiffer user so how could I use a cloth duster?
Sis may have been finicky, but once we got a rhythm going, she was able to look after my brother-in-law and I was left to care for the home, answer the door, answer the phone and complete her computer work.
I am back home now and my sister misses me:-)
I'll bet she does...um....what are you doing next week? Again, a whole 'nother take on the words. This week everyone is just flying with the words.
ReplyDeleteGreat job...
ReplyDeletewell done
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the words. And am quite certain your sister misses you. Big time.
ReplyDeleteWas any of that true????
ReplyDeletePersistence wins out in the end. All older sisters or brothers have that dominant trait, I think. :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Annie. :)
Sounds like my sisters, nice job.
ReplyDeleteDo you do ovens and windows? I have one of each and the window isn't all that big...
ReplyDeleteGee do you hire out? I'm not picky. Seriously, that was a really cool way to help out, plus use all your words.
ReplyDeletemy sisters are in FL now. I'm trying not to be...
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!! I miss my sisters also, but we haven't cleaned houses for each other!
