Yes and I go to my daughter's next. I already took a short road trip to my sisters but it was great fun driving the turnpike in my GMC Colony!
DeleteI enjoyed the raisin joke the best. Glad you love your new truck. The only thing better than a road trip in a new car is a road trip in a 2012 SUV with almost 9,000 miles on it. She feels brand new and my girls always want to get to drive her.

ReplyDeletewe don't have your problem with heat, quite the opposite. Have to say I've never driven a big car, we live in a small town so ir would be daft & expensive to have one. Our roads and car parks are not equipped for them but it doesn't stop lots of people having humungous cars & taking up 2 spaces!
Luckily we have a good bus service & a free bus pass for the golden oldies!
