AFRAID SO - BAD

Question Of The Week 12-12-16

Have you ever been on a blind date?
 Good or bad result?
(Comments are added to this page after you post them.  Thanks for your responses.)
Apologies to dates and to the blind. Couldn't resist:)

I've never been on a blind date, actually didn't date much at all, just went out with groups of friends.

Two blind dates and both disasters. One said I was too fat for his tastes and the other became a stalker.

No, I have never been on one....but I am the direct result of one. :-) My parents, Dick and Lois, met on a 'blind' date. Imagine that!

Many dates, but no blind dates. My friends tried to play matchmaker, but I always refused to play along.

I went on a blind date to the Bahamas. He was handsome, funny, smart, and kind. We dated several years and he is still a friend today.

Hi, I'm visiting from Riot Kitty's.
I had a sort of blind date with a guy I met over a hotel reservation system - "online" meetup long before there was any internet, and we both worked for the same hotel chain. It was good, he was a nice guy and we stayed in touch for several years. But he was in the military and moved a lot and I eventually lost track of him.

Yes and it was bad. The most full of himself bore I have ever met and I had a hard time shaking him. I asked my mother, "Do you think I should return his calls just to be polite?" (He was my friend's husband's law partner.) She said, "Shoot, no!" :)

No, I'm such a coward.

Saw your comment on LL Cool Joe's post about church & Kylie. I thought everyone knew Kylie she's been around forever. Maybe she's not so popular in the USA as she is in Australia & the UK.

Just tried to post a reply to your post on thrush & the whole lot including your post disappeared. Weird!

Hope you're improving & are better for to eat & enjoy your Christmas lunch!

Jim and I met on a blind date and married 6 months later. I'd say it was a success - considering we just had our 52nd anniversary!

Nope, me neither, I'm sure it works out okay occasionally, but it sounds like my idea of a nightmare.

  20. Never! I've led a sheltered life - as you can tell from reading 'An Imperfect Life'.
