BABY STEPS

There has been a lot to do around here since Ron died.  It is definitely getting done in baby steps.  My son and daughter help me do so much and we have made a big difference but still lots to be done.  This past week I finally had the house painted and am absolutely thrilled.  See the before and after pictures here.

Next will be a new porch and railing and then hope to paint the barn next year.   Baby steps...

  2. Wow you've transformed the place, it looks great. Yes baby steps are fine, or what I call an elephant task. Bite size chunks are the way to go.

  8. It looks very nice indeed. I drive my our old house now and then with some very mixed feelings, but high on the list is grateful I no longer have to take care of a big house by myself. I find enough to do around my little condo now. We all deal in our own ways. I am glad you have family helping out.

  16. A step at a time....and time to breathe in between. I think the achievements are valued even more when they're done that way. Looking great! :)
