ANSWERS AGAIN

I am posting the answers again to this week's Question Of The Week.  If you didn't get to comment, go ahead and comment on that post and I will add  your answer to this list.  If anyone objects to my posting their answers, let me know and I will discontinue this.  Meanwhile I love what everyone has to say.

I answered this on facebook as work in a library again - like the very first job I ever had, but I like your road trip idea. Hmmm - that sounds nice.

I always worry about you and Mama Zen with the tornadoes I see on the news!

Write for a living. I've been a writer since before I was 11, but didn't know it until I was older.

Actually, since retirement, that's kind of my life. I do like to spontaneously go on a short trip. We might just leave on Thursday after Bob's eye is checked and find ourselves some spring weather!

I would go to someone's house and look after their chickens and cats.
Or pottery. ;-)

You just reminded me that I am not nearly as spontaneous as I use to be. I use to love taking
right-turn only day trips when I first got here. I would just drive all day with Mighty Dog exploring country roads while snacking on a cooler. I also called it a tank-of-gas day. I would only make right hand turns which eventually brought me home. Longer road trips were also fun but I needed a cat sitter for that. Think I need to shake loose the doldrums. Thanks.

I would ride a horseback, the N Calif section of the Pacific Crest Trail, lots of history there.

I would head to the airport, fly maybe to Denver, rent a car and tour the west again.

Drive cross country and stop in for a short visit with all the pals I've made via my blog and different forums I'm a member of.

It was just too complicated a question to answer. Sometimes I would like to just pick up my purse and walk away, never to return. I've never yet, but as I enter my red-hat lady years, I can see it happening.

Go horseback riding! I should've been a horse farmer, I'd be so much happier-

Was going to say that I would be eating heavily buttered popcorn and watching a stupid movie with my daughter, but then I saw Snaggle Tooth's response and realized I would love to go for a long fabulous horseback ride along the beach.

However, I would still want heavily buttered popcorn afterwards.

Love reading everyone's answers. I have a printing client, who works at a very ritzy hotel in St. Thomas - she's lived there for 30 years. She's originally from Snaggle's neck of the woods and when she got divorced, decided she needed a change. So she looked up a place where it is warm and beautiful all the time - she's been in St. Thomas ever since. How I admire that - just picking up and moving someplace else.

A little late to the game as I was compouterless for most of last week. I would love to simply write and yes, go back and work in the library. Absolutely loved the job.

It's almost warm enough for a long walk in my favourite park, Toronto Island. That's what I'd like to do: see the lake, the trees, the animals (local wildlife and farm-zoo), and the happy, excited children.

I would paint. And ride a horse. Sit in the sun. Hug my kids. Have a dinner date or some kind of a date with my hubby...and then begin it all over again! ;-)
