ReplyDeleteActually, since retirement, that's kind of my life. I do like to spontaneously go on a short trip. We might just leave on Thursday after Bob's eye is checked and find ourselves some spring weather!

ReplyDeleteright-turn only day trips when I first got here. I would just drive all day with Mighty Dog exploring country roads while snacking on a cooler. I also called it a tank-of-gas day. I would only make right hand turns which eventually brought me home. Longer road trips were also fun but I needed a cat sitter for that. Think I need to shake loose the doldrums. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteA little late to the game as I was compouterless for most of last week. I would love to simply write and yes, go back and work in the library. Absolutely loved the job.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost warm enough for a long walk in my favourite park, Toronto Island. That's what I'd like to do: see the lake, the trees, the animals (local wildlife and farm-zoo), and the happy, excited children.
