To be perfectly honest, I can't stand wall-to-wall-to-wall-to-wall coverage of this stuff. There has to be a happy medium with all of this and so far, there isn't.
example, one day after the Paris attacks, the NY Daily News had pretty gruesome cover pic to lead off their coverage (yes, if you're thinking what I'm implying, you're absolutely right).
I've found myself clicking off, too...in many ways. Remote controls are one of the best things that have been invented...along with our ability of knowing how and when to use them.
I wish they, the remote controls, worked equally as well on all the evil idiots in this world!
I think it's necessary to be aware of what is happening, but once you've understood the facts it's healthy to focus your attention on something else. Spending all day obsessing about bad news, no matter what it is, will only drive you crazy.
Balance is everything.

They want us to stay home n be afraid- Funny how it has the opposite effect! Especially with the camera folks!
