SIBLING RIVALRY

Question Of The Week, 11-23-15

  1. Good question. My daughters used to fight, but I've noticed they are getting on a bit better now, but whether I'd go as far as to say they like each other, I'm not sure. They'd say no, but I think they do.

  2. Oh my - yes. My nieces in Florida couldn't stand each other growing up. They are only 18 months apart in age. Lots of jealousy there.

But they both went away to college and wound up at the same school - somehow, living away from home in the same town, but difference residences made them close. They are extremely tight still. I told them that would happen, but they didn't believe me. :)

  3. Sure, my late brother and I fought like brother and sister! We sometimes couldn't stand a bar of each other, but we always loved each other.

  5. I think most siblings work it out eventually. It would be nicer if they had never fount in the first place.

  7. I was the oldest of four and somehow kept myself above the fray. My brothers tortured my little sister and they laugh and reminisce fondly about it all now.

  9. Not sure. I don't fight with my brother N anymore, but he still has a lot of behaviors I don't like.
