I don't like snow and ice. I had enough of it when I lived in New York for 5-1/2 years back in the 1970s.

ReplyDeleteI've lived in snow country all of my life. We're used to it... well, most of us. Some people here are getting into wrecks like people that aren't used to dealing with it. We went from a balmy 32 degrees & then a "wintry mix" at night to -34 windchills yesterday (actual temp was 1) to an actual temp of -26 this morning. It's not often Lake Superior freezes over, but it's looking like this will be the 2nd year in a row. Hello Siberia ... I don't want your fronts here!!!

ReplyDeleteNice to have neighbours like that. We live in a town but ours are good, there if we need them. We always speak or have a bit of a chat on the way out or in but we don't live in each other' pockets.

ReplyDeleteOur neighbor has constantly shoveled our walk ways and he's not a young whipper snapper either... he's of a pleasant retirement age....I wouldn't want a better neighbor!
