    That is a good philosophy. People called me "fatty" when I was a kid but I wasn't fat. However I believed them and got fat instead of looking at the truth.

  5. Pretty much all of them. I can't seem to learn anything in an easy way. And I am still batting myself in the head over listening to my own truth and ignoring someone else's "shoulds."

  9. Many of my life's lessons were learned the hard way. I think I have become much more empathetic as I have aged, finding when I judged others I was usually wrong or over simplified things.

  14. So many things. Too many things. I am a slow learner, and seem to need to 'do it self'.
    A biggie? Some day this will seem insignficant. And there are 'traumas' from my yoof which definitely fall into that category. (And some which don't).

  16. No, I haven't been to a real cabaret either, but I was using it as a euphemism for a good time. I've learned that life can be full of hard times... maybe that's how we can tell the difference.

    Lying is too easy to get caught in- especially by your mother!

    Plus, smoking is a foolish habit.
