BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

HOORAY FOR THE AUSSIES!!! WHOOHOO! YIPPEE! CONGRATULATIONS ON FANTASTIC SECURITY AND FOILING WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST HORRENDOUS TERR***ST PLOT!  WAY TO GO DOWN UNDER!.

None of us know what our country is doing behind the scenes.  Everyone in the world is diligent as they watch for suspicious signs of terr***sm and thankfully Australia has seen their efforts come to fruition in stopping the latest horrific plot by I**S.

    1. Lisa, wasn't that exciting! I sure wish I knew what got them to that point of discovery.

  2. Close call - - - -.
I do not understand why certain people like to create fear. New York has increased our security as well, specially New York city.
It is such an unsafe world today. I am hoping that one day it will be a safe world.

    1. We have no idea what things happen daily for our protection. It is probably best we dont.

  4. They really did a super job didn't they!! The terrorists are among us. I once spent several days trying to make Mohammad Atta (the 9-11 terrorist) smile as he passed my toll booth going to his flying lessons. I felt dirty when I found out who he was.

  5. We can't be too vigilant nowadays.

You have to go through hoops at airports but I don't complain.

What worries me is in Europe you can go through different countries by train & there are no passport checks until you get to the Eurostar rail check-in at Paris or Brussels to go into England. The UK Border Agency are there checking passposrts luggage etc. Makes you feel a bit safer. But people are free to go anywhere across the European Union with no checks on railways. Very worrying!

I'm on the Eurostar to Paris in 10 days to travel down to Bordeaux & have to say it worries me who could be travelling across it by rail!

  6. I think we now have years ahead of watchfulness. This vast group of disenfranchised and angry people are coming with bombs and knives instead of pitchforks. But the only thing we have to fear is fear itself...I think someone said that...;-)

  7. Thank you, Grannie Annie for this post.

What's happening in our world today is so very distressing and that news yesterday made me feel very proud of our guys.

And then some Muslims in Sydney protested about the raids. As far as I'm concerned those who protest should pack up their bags and leave this country...if they don't like the way we conduct business...they can leave...the sooner the better, in my opinion.

I'll wave them off with glee!

  8. Yes, good on them for catching the Muslim terrorists. I wish we had the gumption to close our border with Mexico. If people think it isn't leaking terrorists into this country, they are living in a fools paradise.

  9. Scary what it going on with insurgents world-wide. Such disregard for life and freedom.
Security is a fragile concept these days- But they can never convince the modern world to accept their hateful values.

Glad Down Under was spared that horror-
