Congrats, Annie! I can't imagine the blogging world without you in it! I hope you've gotten out of it as much as you have given!

I haven't been here for the whole
8 years but I'm glad I found you. Congrats on the anniversary and enjoy the celebration.

Congrats to the one of the best of the net. I agree, if you quit that might do it for me. I just couldn't survive without you. (sniff, sniff)
I looked to see when I started and see we're both pretty ancient here. Mine was 6-17-04) And I've no idea when we got together but I'm glad I did. cm
btw: we're in Branson doing some estate work with Marilyn's CPA brother so we're kind of in your neck o the woods.

Congrats! I don't know how long I've been reading you, but I'm sure it's been almost since the beginning. I was a beta tester on Blogger way back in their infancy & then went "pro". They sent me a hoodie for that. I still wear it even though it's worn & over 10 years old.

Jeanie -- I am so glad you found me too. Just think of all we have found that we have in common and hopefully I will get to meet you in person this month.

Cliff -- I met you guys through blogstock 08. Following Nora and Jamie Dawn led to you, Rachel, Ralph, etc. I wanted us to go to that so badly. I did not realize that you had been here a year longer than I. You will always be a favorite familiar face.

Bonnie (BIZ)-- I know we have been reading each other a long time and I admire you most for your gusto and ability on remodeling and taking on some very difficult tasks. Also your love and support of your family, especially your brother.

Congrabulations G.A. on surving 8 years in the blog land.

I'm not that far behind as I have about 67% of your longevity coming up in May (5 years).

As for you reader from Mountain View, California, that is a very good question as I have the same wonderful reader visit my blog from time to time as well.

Riot Kitty -- Thank you! Love your wit and your extreme dedication to your fantastic work. Your try to be tough but you are a marshmallow and most caring of other folks.

Rob and Monica -- Thanks for this wish and for your Facebook wish too. You guys are the best.

kenju -- Thank you Judy, and thanks for reading the fine print. We've both been at this a long time and I adore your magic work with flowers plus your no nonsense attitude on issues.

Cathy -- Glad you discovered Dora. Just one of my many multiple personalities. I am getting behind in my commenting and hope I haven't missed any of your posts. It is great having a friend from Australia. Especially one who shares so many adventures in wonderful photographs.

Kay -- Thank you. Hopefully my weekend will consist of catching up on all my blog reading. You certainly do a good job of keeping us up-to-date on Hawaii happenings! You also offer some great tips for our computer usage as we surf the internet.

G.B. Miller -- Thank you for the congrats! Interesting that we have the same lurker possibly. I did see another blogger friend who had feedjit and also has a Mountain View, Ca visitor. Could be we have a mystery.

Checking to see if your secret follower revealed themselves, Annie.

Oh, and I forgot to answer your question...which was have I learned anything about you. Well, yes, of course. You reveal so much of yourself here...your compassion, your passion, your kick-assedness (I'm not sure it's a word, but I'm making it one) and that you are a remarkable woman and Ron is blessed to have you in his life...as are all your friends and family.

Congratulations GA ! Are you still as excited & enthusiastic as you were when you started ?

Granny Annie said...

Talon -- Thanks for coming back to share what you have learned about me. I accept "kick-assedness" as a word. You were too kind in your comment and I thank you. No I haven't learned who is from Mountain View,California but have learned that others have that same visitor. Curiouser and curiouser.

I just found your blog through About, com Grandparents. Eight years and 152,000 page views! I'm in awe! I've been at this for just over a year: "Things my Grandkids Should Know" at axiesdad.blogger.com and just broke a thousand page views. Any blog that starts with that wonderful quote from Macbeth has to be great. I hope I can get all the way back to the beginning to start a thorough perusal.
