HUMBLE HOME
Deer grazing in front yard. There were seven standing still and I don't know how many running in woods across the road.
cranethie -- More likely Slim is helping me watch the traffic. She doesn't' trust my driving any more than Ron does.
LL Cool Joe -- The deer are beautiful and right now we have an abundance of them. I can't remember seeing as many in the six years here. Poachers are already out and about ahead of hunting season.
Changes in the wind -- Slim is The Best Dog In The World!
Jeanie -- Slim had not eaten a bite at the kennel. It always takes a while when boarded to get her to eat and I could really see the weight loss on her.
ashok -- It is such a routine thing around here that sometimes we forget the "WOW" factor.
Nancy -- I'm pretty sure Slim was wanting to take over the driving. Actually Jed snubbed Slim at first, I guess to punish her for being gone. Then last night she came to the front door and made some noise. Slim was out the door and the girls must have had a sleep over because Slim did not come back until 3 AM.
Riot Kitty -- Slim loves us (me the mostest) and she is well loved.
Sounds like alot of Deer! N Almost hunting season- they better watch out- Well maybe you won't need mowing this week.
Slim does look so happy! I bet she ran all over to check everything when she got back- Cats always punish n then make up- I wonder where they learn that?
Annie, Just had to stop by and reassure you that I was not driving. Hubby who does not drink was. At my age, I would be crazy to mix alchohol with gas. Thanks for the lecture though...now I miss mom and dad!
Snaggle Tooth -- You can bet that Slim hit the ground running when she was out of the van. She ran all the way to the back of the property, made a wide circle and ran back. She was still full of piss and vinegar the rest of the day. One happy girl.
Tabor -- Happy to learn you were not driving. Glad I could stir some memories of your parents with my loving strictness:)
Sorry about all the deer. We're having the same problem. Often we hit over 200 on the place. I call them 'timber rats.' The dog is ready to go. "Put the camera away and lets ride!"
My goodness if only he could talk - 'the sooner you get this car going the better' might be what he is saying lol

I love seeing the deer in our garden. I know they can do some damage to trees and stuff but they are beautiful. My partner loves them.
