NO PEEKING

Question Of The Week 8-6-12

What would you do if you could be invisible for one day?

I would wander bipartisan-ly in and out of  Senators and representatives offices in Washington DC  and listen in on their private meetings.

  1. Ya got me here GA. Not sure. I suppose I'd have to 'scare the crap out of someone.'

  2. Cliff -- Okay that made me laugh out loud.

  3. Hmm I'd hate the thought if being invisible and have no idea what I'd do.

It would be nice to see the look on other drivers' faces as I pick my daughters up from school. :D

  4. LL Cool Joe -- More than the other drivers faces, I would love to see the face on the cop when he pulled over the driver less car and your license and registration seemed to float out the window to him.

  5. That would be the day that I would finally go shopping for a new swim suit.

  6. I would love it and hope I could fly fast because I'd do what you do and other places too! sandie

  7. Jeanie -- That is great! I don't think I could bear (or bare) to do that whether I was invisible or not.

Chatty Crone -- I just said invisible. So you're going to fly too?

  8. Annie,

I heard of an old lady who was profoundly deaf. She went to the doctor and had a cochlear implant put in and now she can hear everything.

Someone said to her "I suppose your family is very happy that you can hear again." The old lady said,"Oh, I didn't tell anybody. I just sit in the corner all day and listen to what they say."

"I've changed my will 8 times."

    That's almost like being invisible...

  14. Great question! I'd want to follow my primary physician around all day. I think it would be interesting to hear such a variety of symptoms and his diagnosis. Not to mention he isn't bad on the eye :)

  15. Nancy -- You are terrific ...always with the perfect story. Loved it.

G.B. Miller -- Oh boy or boy, if I were still in the workplace that would be a choice for me also. Where do they get these ruthless HR people anyway?

Lynn -- And would he be nekked?

Riot Kitty -- Who the heck is Russell Brand? Everyone is talking about him and I don't have a clue so I couldn't spy on him cause I couldn't find him. (Does this mean I'm old?)

kenju -- Not going with who where? And yes, Jeanie is a hoot.

Changes in the wind -- Of course the camera would have to be invisible also. I wouldn't have thought of that.

Marla and Steve -- Great answer. Our precious cancer doctor was so young and so cute I always wanted to be able to see into his life with his wife and three wee children. He is the absolute most caring fellow on earth. Looks like a little boy with a bad haircut. We actually named a goat after him:)

  17. I'd spend a day in London with my elder son. Just to see what his ife is like now and because I miss him. and he's off to Florida soon - only for a holiday - but its far aaway.

  18. Snaggle Tooth -- You have got my attention. I would be great to lurk on a movie set but wouldn't it be even better to insert your invisible self into the movie?

Pat -- Our kids certainly seem busy all the time. It would be interesting to go through one day with each of them seeing how they manage to juggle their lives. I would get busted on my invisible visiting because I wouldn't be able to resist giving them advice.

  19. I think I'd stay home all day because I wouldn't know when I'd be visible again. Unless my clothes are invisible too. Then... I'd go sit in my granddaughter's kindergarten class and watch how she does. OK... I know, I know. I'm over-thinking this. Thank you for the good advice about the slow cooker. I did check out the blog and she really does have a ton of recipes.
