PICK FIVE

If  you play WORDS WITH FRIENDS, I hope you will have fun with this challenge.  Take five words from one game you recently completed and work them into a short comment.

(If you don't play the game, use these five words from a recent game I played: Huger, gushy, yagi,, weet, pun. Or five words someone else uses).

14 comments:

  1. Example: She had to weet that this perfect yagi for her shortwave radio would be huger than she could have imagined. She got all gushy and emotional in her attempts to think up a good pun about it.

  2. This is perfect - because I have five games going right now. So here are my words: ached, czars, jobs, stogey, ex.

The czars stood outside the palace to discuss their plan for creating more jobs, so the one who smokes could puff on his stogey. He only half listened though, as he dreamed of his ex and his heart ached.

  3. Lynn -- Perfect. Makes me curious about who the five czars might be:) I am still drooling over your recipe posted today for Tomato-Cheddar Strata with Broccoli.

  4. I've seen this game app on my Kindle Fire. Wondered what it was all about. Sounds intriguing since I like word games. I'll have to give it a try.

  5. working today; too busy to think. Maybe later. Good idea, though.

  6. Rae -- WWF is just Scrabble online. You should try it. I love seeing all the new words and searching their meanings. That's why I thought using them in sentences would be a fun addition. You really came up with a great post today. Maybe all of us should write our own obituary. Also your pictures of Riley having fun in the snow were great. Slim has learned in her six years how to plow the snow with her nose, throw it up in the air, catch it and eat it like a delicious treat.

Leona Raisin -- Looks like Spam to me but interesting anyway. Not sure if I will report it to blogger or not right now.

Judy (kenju) -- Okay you are exempt from my little challenge since you are in recovery:) Glad you felt like posting those The Worst Analogies! a couple of days ago.

  8. I quit do-in the game. I do not know any big words.
There that's it. I lost that game by 200 points.

  9. Grammie -- Sorry to confuse you:) Guess you don't play WWF. Your posting variety has been very interesting. Going from dealing with loss to putting on pajamas for a flight to France.

Riot Kitty -- "Weet" is an archaic verb know. "Yagi" is a special shortwave radio antenna. You don't have to know their meanings to play them in WWF but I love to stumble across a new word and aways look it up. I usually never play any of the games on facebook but this one has really gotten me hooked. Now about your Thursday blog post, does the "f" word have the same meaning in Japan as in the U.S.? If so, that's the country for you. LOL

Cliff -- You lost "that game"? Does that mean you only played one game? I almost gave up at first but now I am totally hooked. See Cliff work. See Cliff play. See Cliff do-in words with friends. Cliff will learn new things. That is how Cliff became famous.

  10. I've never played words...
But I heard Alec Baldwin got tossed off a flight recently for not shutting off his cell phone because he was playing it...

  11. Snaggle Tooth -- Oops, now I might be able to see how that could happen. It is terribly addicting. It is good to hear from you this morning and know you survived Friday the 13th. We had a little snow also but nothing treacherous.
