WHEN THE WIND BLOWS

We have a large family gathering scheduled to begin this Friday, March 11th, with ALL the grandchildren coming for Spring Break. Even our California kids are coming! We cannot wait for the group to gather. Our oldest grandson will be heading off to the Navy soon and three other of our eight grandchildren are graduating from high school this year, so this is pretty much the last time they will all get together before the wind blows them in many different directions.

This must be where the expression "When the wind blows, the cradle will rock" comes from:) Our family cradle is really rocking these days.

  2. What fun it will be! You'll have to make this an annual event... After all the "Winds of Change" do blow... But as the world turns, winds change and seasons come and go... there is a cycle to all of this... So once again there will be a time when the wind will blow and the cradle will rock again. Enjoy your family! (and when you're all together, set a date for next year. We have a couple of family reunions that have been going on for generations. A fun way to stay connected with distant relatives)
Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P

  11. It sounds like a wonderful family time is coming. I love it when I can get most of mine together. It has been many years since I had all of them here. I do miss those happy times. It just makes a mother feel complete when she has all of her little chicks under her wing again.

  16. Great to hear your family gets to gather before a scatter!
Things do certainly change after schools out- Much of my cousins n nieces or nephews are so so far away, it's been many years. Even my sisters are 1500 miles away.
I seem to only catch up to a group of them during memorial services n weddings.

    Enjoy that wonderful clan!
