  2. fireblossom -- Yes that sign is so funny! I thought Ron's comment was funnier, but I do think ever word out of his mouth is clever:)

  3. Ron is right! I need to find a job closer to home or something - all my money is going to gasoline, seems like. :)

    Love that sign. :)

  4. LOVE the sign!! Can I steal it?

  5. Lynn -- We are glad we don't have to go to work every day. Don't see how people manage any kind of commute.

kenju -- Of course you may steal it. I did:)

  7. If it wasn't so true I think I would wet my pants laughing...

  8. So true....so, unfortunately, true.
Thanks for the laugh... : )

  9. Too damn true! Ron's right! Petrol prices here in the UK are just unbelievable. Driving the kids to school is now a big expensive, and we live 10 minutes away from the place!

  10. lol! Yeah, gas prices are downright terrifying...and I don't think there will be much of a change in the coming months, either.

  13. Oooh... it could be worse... no jobs created at all or that the jobs changing the signs are send abroad or that people in the US have the pay price as the people in Europe... almost $ 9.00 ( I heard this from my brother in the Netherlands and he was not smiling).

  14. Tabor – Yep, it does stop being funny after while doesn’t it?

Changes in the wind – That sign is an oldie but a goodie. It came out the last time gasoline prices went over $4

Grammie – It does get the grins doesn’t it?

LL Cool Joe – Couldn’t have said it better…”Too Damn true!” is so damn right.

Talon -- I’m hoping this too shall pass. We’re saying all the same things we said before and gas prices did go back down so hopefully they will again.

Riot Kitty – “unfortunately” is so correct.

Chatty Crone – Who wants to be right at such a time?

Holland – You are one of those “glass-half-full” people aren’t you? That is a good way to be. I cannot imagine ever having to pay $9 for a gallon of gasoline. Yikes!

  17. The good news is that we just bought a yukon xl with the 6.2 engine. But we're going on a long trip. The first stop is in Tulsa at my sisters house. They always have the cheapest gas in the country at the mini mart near her home. I'm not sure this is something to celebrate though. We haven't been able to fill it clear up except at our local station. The other stations where we use our Visa card keeps clicking the pump off at only $75 but who needs a full tank.

  18. Gas is high.. your sign is funny.. You can plant daffodils along your path and the goats will not eat them. Neither will the deer. They will be pretty.. Thanks for coming by to see me.

  19. Dani -- Thanks.

Lucy -- You are so right.

Cliff -- Tulsa is our second home. Let us know when you will be there and maybe we can all meet at the mini-mart:) How fun that would be.

Ancient one -- Now I am excited about planting daffodils. The funny thing is that I never thought about people planting daffodils. I thought they just popped up different places like wild flowers.
