HOT OFF THE PRESSES

There are my amazing kittens in the chicken nest on page 72 of COUNTRYSIDE MAGAZINE, Sept/Oct. 2009 issue. I was very pleased that they printed my pictures and short essay regarding this fun finding in my hen house. Most of you probabaly remember the story and I still have the original photo on my sidebar.

Wonderful! It truly was worth being printed. I sent it to a lot of our friends.

Congratulations!! I always loved reading that magazine, all the great homesteading tips and stories! I haven't seen one in ages and don't subscribe to it.

Interesting read about the NFL. I am not a fan at all, but I think it's crazy the way they are allowed to buy their way out of things and the extreme money they are paid. Ridiculous.

I was featured in a magazine once. It was a story that I had written concerning a very horrible experience during major surgery.

How refreshing to be the author of a HAPPY story!!! May I have your autograph? Love the photos.

Hi Annie,

I am so proud of you. What an honor to be published in a REAL magazine. Good for you and Miss Hissy and Elenore and the little kitties.

It really was a wonderful nature story and deserved to be in that great magazine.

Hi Granny Annie ~~ Great photo and story and congratulations on getting it published. Thank you for your comment about the dreadful floods in our country. I cried for that 13 year old boy who said take my 10 yr old brother first. They did save the younger boy, but the older boy and his mother were washed away and drowned. There were so many sad stories. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. It will take a lot of time and money to recover.
Glad you liked the Walking joke and got a laugh after the sadness.
I liked the one about the Wellie
boots - poor teacher. Take care,
Love, Merle.
