Tabor, their mother is Miss Hissy and I caught her in the nest boxes and should have known what she was up to. The cats love the hen house because the dog won't go in there for anything.

JD, Kitticks is a good name. I just hope they don't develop a taste for eggs. I haven't had any problem with the cats eating our eggs. I'm afraid to reach in and get the eggs that are there for fear of disturbing the kittens or getting my smell on them. (Not that I stink:)
Awww. So precious. That's a photo for the record books. I expect to see it in my e-mail box for years as it travels around the world. Someone is bound to steal it.
you know, i grew up thinking that we shouldn't touch baby cats, or kittens, as civilized folks call them, but i think it's okay. if i recall, when my sweet jasper was born kathrine and i tried to get as many as possible into 2 hands. they were tiny tiny babies :) but maybe not THIS tiny...who the crap knows...
I wish I lived closer.....I have one of your Chicktens. I think Darlene may be right, someone is going to put that on the internet and then Snopes will be out to investigate, lol. It's a great pictuure.

Mountain Mama you are so right about the built in baby sitter. My mama cat (Miss Hissy) gets off the nest and lets the hens continue to lay eggs on top of the kittens.

Monica, annie, Kay, OGO, I always love for you to stop and comment. Yep, they were a surprise for sure. OGO, all my cats are outside. All barn cats and pretty much wild but very healthy and happy.

Oh, my post about Nancy Pelosi I took off because it was out of context. My source had it wrong. She wasn't talking about raising taxes on 401k's for illegals, but rather just in general. So I didn't want to spread false info.
Still, Pelosi needs to go. Calling illegals heroes and wanting even more of our hard-earned tax money going to illegals is anti-American, and she needs to be booted from office. Illegals have already bankrupted this state.
