FEATHER COMFORTER

Miss Hissy is moving her kittens. You can tell that Elenore is holding on to the last two for dear life. Be sure an enlarge the photo to see the kittens faces.
See this post "What's wrong with this picture?" that began this kitten saga.

Be sure and look at yesterday's sunshine post if you missed it.

  1. Aww, that's adorable. I think. We once had a dog that took care of our baby kittens and ducklings along with her own pups.

  4. Lovely kittens , so adorable, I do miss having pets but not allowed them where I live.

Thanks for your visit I could compare Palm Springs with UK the reason being after being in Death Valley, vegas etc, the greenery where we were, looked like being home, well the part where were anyway. just wanted to clear that up. Other tourists made the same comment.

Take care and look after those lovely kittens.

  5. PG, Monica, Annie and Yvonne, This has got to get boring, but it absolutely amazes me too. I mean look how she has herself spread out over them and both are on their backs looking up at their OM (Other Mom). These kittens have not been cold one day of their lives because when Miss Hissy isn't nursing them, Elenore Hen is cuddling them. Now we have to wonder about the two that have been taken somewhere else. I hope they are alive and well.

  7. This is so amazing. Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing them with us.

Now wouldn't it be nice if the insurance companies looked after the people who pay their wages as well as this!

  10. Annie,

Of all the years I lived on a farm I have never seen kittens in a hen's nest. This is adorable.

I read your post below about the insurance. I can understand your anger. In 1988, I was in a car accident that left me disabled and unable to work. They got away with paying me so very little and my world was turned upside down. Keep your chin up, my friend. I'm praying for you. In Ontario that particular insurance company is one of the worst. Fight them for all you're worth.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  12. Those kitties are precious!
I love how feline and fowl have intermingled in your neck of the woods.
How sad that little David may not survive. I love the names you choose for your animals!
    They are always delightful.

    :-)

It was nice to see the Golden Girls growing up and doing well.
