HOW ARE YOU STARTING 2009?
We hope your celebrations didn't leave you looking like Slim today. HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAR FRIENDS!!!!! (Don't forget to watch the Rose Parade .)
NOTICE THE JANUARY, 2009 "COLOR ME WHO" CONTEST HAS STARTED.
Happy New Year ! No, I don't look likw Slim ;^) I am more "roley-poley." and short ! I will spent my day alone, and will be eating black-eyed peas and cornbread, and cabbage. The peas or for "good luck" Cheers!
I wish I looked like slim. I will be spending the day straightening up and taking down the Christmas tree and packing up the decorations. Eating lamb chops tonight.
My little male dog lays like this too but he is not so long lol....Like Tabor I will finish putting the Christmas things away and I am cooking some of the shrimp we brought back from Mexico yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Slim obviously had a happy New Year's Eve celebration. I looked like that years ago (I'm afraid to admit), but last night was quiet and sweet...just the four of us.
Hope you had a great evening, Annie...and yes, we must watch that parade!
Happy New Year! I had a quiet New Years Eve. Just sat around here alone and did stay awake until midnight! I am drinking a Bloody Mary right now! So unlike me, but it sounded so good, and I bought the stuff for it awhile ago. I will try to guess on the color me good.
Marla, the rules for December apply to the January contest so I tried to take the easy way. I think I explained it a little better under the graphic. See what you think. No clues have been give yet. Thanks!
We shoveled 6" snow this morn and another 2" now. I feel like the dog, wish I were as slim! Happy New Year and thanks for all your supportive comments over the past year.
I watched the Rose Bowl parade and say the Broken Arrow band march by...I was wondering which two boys were your grandsons....I also saw the BOA honor band march by....So Cool....
No way I could look like Slim, I babysat for New Years and the kids spent the night....I did wake up to hugs and kisses.
It gives a grandma chills to watch her grandchildren on TV. We got to see Dillon march straight into the camera lens as the Broken Arrow band turned the corner at the Rose Parade and in the final shot we saw Ryan. Well, we saw his drum but by the time we moved our eyes from the drum to his face, they were gone.
Lucy, my primary New Years role was always as babysitter and I missed waking up with little ones.
What a thrill to see your Grandsons in uniform performing in their band on TV. Cngratulations on two fine young men, GJ! I see you have a new contest..hmm I blame you entirely because I'm just now getting around to reading New Year blogs. You told me about Boston Legal! I'm only here right now because we finished the second season last night and are out of DVDs. Eeyore says thank-you as he's really hooked too:)
