Nephew visits NOL-NOC Estates for the first time! Joy To The World!
Cuz from Georgia shares wonderful Christmas with family.
Christmas comes when invited. As my children were growing up and they shared Christmas between my home and their dad's, I learned that December 25th is not the only day to feel the spirit of Yuletide.
Yesterday we not only celebrated with family, we heard from all the rest via mail, email and telephone.
Hope your celebrations are as grand as ours was yesterday.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
You're right. It can be Christmas Day every day if we feel it.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely family pictures to share.
Happy Christmas to you and your family. I hope your year in 2009 is a fantastic one.
Sounds like you pulled off another Yule with success!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures say it all. You're a festive bunch and I love your sparkly apron. Woo-hoo! You make the "old folks" look goooood.
ReplyDeleteThose stockings in the last pic are cute, too! I need to go and find my Santa hat after reading this post!

Yep, Christmas can be celebrated early or late.
Having family, friends, and good food makes for a great holiday. I'm glad you enjoyed your celebration.
Whether its a little early or a little late, sharing the joy with loved ones makes it Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMarry Christmas, Granny Annie.
Hugs and blessings,
Renie
I love your comments(and advice - it's comforting)! I actually do have a couple ideas, that was a good one and I might have to do that next year! :)
ReplyDeleteThese 2 boys will want for nothing and I'm just most grateful to have people like you in my life.
Just catching up! Looks like you had a wonderful early Christmas visit with your family!! How wonderful. You look great, all smiles with your apron on!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and very lovely comment, Granny Annie. I see you've had a truly wonderful family get-together via in person or electronic. That's what makes this season so especially special.
ReplyDeleteI found that out two years ago when my family decided to have an early December reunion in Solvang, CA. This has made Christmas so much easier for me. Now I don't expect all the kids and families to show up on Dec. 25th. One will because she lives close by, the others are with their spouses families or celebrating at home. Most importantly, it all feels "guilt free".
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYes, you were right - the TV joke at Wayne Johns gave me a good laugh.
