TACKLE THIS

This is NOT your ordinary tackle box. Well, it was once, but my spouse wisely suggeted I use it for my makeup, etc. We seem to take a lot of last minute trips and my travel kit is alway ready. It is like a roving bathroom chest of drawers. Ron actually stole the idea from Terri. Regardless, it is ready for every emergency. I simply grab the tackle box and we're off with my medicine, hair pins, toothbrush, and all. I get a lot of admiring glances from fishermen who assume I'm one of the guys. If they only knew. LOL

  1. I too have a travel kit but mine is a lot smaller as I have to cram it into my suitcase but it is such a relief to know that you have what you will need and not have to run around gathering things up.
I do this with a little medication bag as well....Good tips.

  2. Does it fit in the rack over the seats on an airplane? Can you use it as a carry on?.....Mine is much smaller and only has sample sizes of what I use. I fit it into my luggage and it works for me. I do have it so that I can just pick it up and run, if I have to.

  3. I have a kit ready to go to. My in-laws gave them to me and my husband. It makes packing so much easier! It looks like your's is more complete than mine though!

  4. It looks like a great idea for someone who carries a lot of makeup, but all I need is lipstick and a hairbrush, so it's a bit overkill for me. I'll keep it in mind, though, for when I need more stuff.

  5. First of all, we never fly. We drive everywhere so there is plenty of room for my tackle box in the van. We search the world for garage and yard sales and have to have some way to carry home our booty. Second, it's not ALL makeup. I've got shampoo and deoderant and jewelry and medication, wig pins etc. I have another bag just for wigs. I can pick up the tackle box and run and everything stays right side up. But, I will concede that it's not for every traveler.

  7. That's a great idea but it won't fit on my motorcycle. I have to travel a bit lighter than that.
