Hey we never got to leave the table without eating everything either..I found a one inch tear in the upholstery of our dining room chair, happened to be the one I sat in..I used to shove my meat in there until Grandma noticed a bad smell one day and figured out where it was coming from..busted! at least I got away with it for a few months anyway!
