SUNDAY TALKING...

 Blog history...

My first blog started on May 1, 2003 and was titled SPONTANEOUS OVERFLOW. Entries were posted to this blog until February 2005.  (William Wordsworth "Poetry is a spontaneous overflow of a powerful feeling.") I recorded this blog on a CD and deleted it.  Now I wish I had left it online.

March, 2005 FOOLS RUSH IN was started and during these 18 years it has had over one million views.

Blogging persons have come and gone from following and commenting.  Some I know have died and some have just disappeared. There is a blank period in my own blogging history where I dropped out for a long time and joined Facebook.  I am still on Facebook but am glad for returning to my blog.

What is the story of your blogging history?

  1. I think it is much like yours although my absence has not been for long periods of time. I regret the easier ability to add bloggers to the list when Blogger first started.

    1. That is a problem for me as well. And I don't understand why we can't add or delete.

  2. My blogging history is shorter than yours but I am so grateful for the friends I have found here. So very grateful. I don't play FB.

  5. Blogging is fun. I've been here for a long time though have taken many blogging breaks as well. And like you, know ones that have passed as well.

  6. I've been blogging since 2007...with one long break. FaceBook was my go-to place for the longest but I've decided, it's just about getting "likes" for your post...and how many "friends" you have. People want to friend you then they never talk to you! I'm done taking it seriously. Big waste of time.
Granny, you CAN add and delete blogs to your side roll! Someday soon, I'' do a post on how to do it!

    1. Donna that is the something I could always do but for some reason it does not work anymore. You gave me the instructions once and it was the same as in the past but still did not work. Phooey...

  8. Wow you are a long time blogger! I started in Aug 2007 and have posted pretty much daily since then with the odd blog break of about a month.
