SUNDAY TALKING...

 A MYSTERY

My morning task is to take my doggy Frankie out to run while I feed Olive the cat. This morning when I stepped on the barn slab that serves as our patio there were foot prints.  Someone had been walking on the slab!  It was a very eerie feeling to think someone had been stalking around and possibly stolen items from the barn.

The next step was to look at my recorded video. Sadly my camera did not focus on the inside of the patio.  The lawn man had been there at 4:00 PM but why would he have walked on the patio for any reason?  He could b e seen mowing on the recording but he never got off the mower and walked toward the barn.

The video did have sound recorded on the patio at 11:36 AM.  There was shuffling and scraping but no person could be seen.  This mystery individual would have to enter the area from the back.

My final attempt was to go back out and measure the size of the prints.  This was done by stepping in them.  My foot was a perfect fit.  Plus the imprint on the shoe bottom was a perfect match for the image of my shoe. Then I remembered going back out to get Olive more water and the camera probably skipped and must not have caught me entering or leaving the slab.

Mystery solved...I think.

  3. Someone went into your house, borrowed your shoes, and walked across the slab. And then kindly returned your shoes. Happens all the time! LOL

  4. It is still a little concerning, having the video skip like that. Although i will admit the whole situation is also mildly funny, and i've done things similar to this myself.
